Suggestions and advice

Thank you for your comments on my previous post. I think I have decided to give low tech a go and see how I get on.

However I now have a few more questions.

The tank in using is this one, it's a aqua oak 80l. It measures 45 x 45 x40cm.

I will be using spider wood and dragon stone.

I'm unsure as to what substrate to use? Tropica or ADA Amazonia?

Also the available space for a light is 430mm. What lights do people recommend?

I use ADA in my medium tech (low light with liquid carbon). Planting is sometimes difficult because it´s so light weight, and always cloudy water when disturbing the substrate. But it looks nice and maybe helps with plant growth
