I have a 65ltr tank with a filter rated up to 180ltr so im guessing i can stock the tank more than the 1cm per ltr rule? at the mo i have 9 cardinal tetras which i want to keep as they have been with us from the start , i would like to add to them and also some other fish that are colourful and interesting as the tank is in the lounge and prefer to watch the tank rather than tv most the time !!! part from top gear! any help or suggestions would be great , i could also go for fish from a particular are as in the wild . Would red pencil fish work? etc etc

Look up certain Biotopes online, they'll give you stocking instructions for certain areas.
Also you might have to use different expensive media I'm guessing, even if the filter is rated at a high flow.
