I'm thinking of ordering solufeed 4:1:2, is it safe to use in an aquarium with fish, shrimp and snails

It should be all right if you are heavily planted, but you would have to bear in mind that the <"urea will be converted to ammonia">.

The <"2 :1 : 4 formulation would be safer">.

keep ph low and should be no issues. I dose urea in my tank. maybe around 0.6ppm daily, no negative effects in fish or sensitive shrimps, plants LOVE it.

I have a 180 litre tank which has an island scape, would 1.5 grams over a week be the right amount.
