To join the chorus, I wouldn't have a tank without Ramshorns in - one of the best algae preventers available! Looks like you've shot well wide of the mark with this article @Carbondioxide - as others have mentioned, given you specialise in the sale of CO2 equipment, there is precious little information on your website on the correct set-up, implementation and operation of CO2 systems in planted tanks - I might be worth you focusing on that instead ;)

Well I pray for you that they’re never feeling too excitable because In a small system you’re likely to think someone has poured milk in there.
Omg this literally JUST HAPPENED!! Released it’s “milk” right in front of me, total snail porn.

In other news… I may have set up a 100cm marine tank this weekend accidentally 😳😀🙃 oops!

Crazy isn’t it how such a small creature can create such a “mess”

I’m glad you accidentally set up a larger reef. There’s so much enjoyment to be had from reef keeping and If my wife wouldn’t bury me I could be tempted to set one up again but a little less serious, softies only and a single fish species.

Stubbed ur toe, slipped on a banana peel……set up a marine tank!….it happens right!! 😉😂
Precisely! I was hardly even aware of it happening before it was too late 🥲

How was I to know when I was scrolling for bargains that I’d actually come across one? Very shocking and unexpected!

It is rather cloudy! 😅 apparently good coral food though 🤔

Exactly, since starting this bowl I can’t stop thinking about dreamy mermaid garden rock pools full of soft corals and seaweed, a living embroidered tapestry. No blue lights, no stony corals, no big fish. Proper ecosystem vibes. Just like I was a kid at the seaside in Cornwall, but with fab tropical stuff. Nothing too expensive or difficult, and not too much equipment either. Lots of movement, waving and wafting and hopping and pottering about. Ooooh I’m so looking forward to it, really need to make a journal 😂
