Two of my newish (I've had ten for about three weeks) Silvertips have developed different problems.

The first has a white mouth, which I suspect is a kind of fungus. The second has deveolped a bulge in the centre of its body, which appears as a light patch in the photo, but in profile is a clear bulge on one side.

Any ideas on the specific diseases and if they are curable?

I'll try to get better pictures later, but they don't stay still long enough or come close enough to the glass.

The first pic looks like Columnaris https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columnaris. Treat it with eSHa 2000.
Not sure what the bulge is caused by since the images are pretty poor and there is no other diagnostic info, but if you combine eSHa 2000 with eSHA EXIT and gdex, it'll provide a very broad spectrum action that might cure that as well http://www.eshalabs.eu/english/products/esha-2000supregsup.html

Follow the instructions, and don't forget to take in to account the capacity of your filter when working out tank volume. Also remove any absorbent filter media like charcoal and purigen.

One last word, aquarium disease is sometimes a sign that all is not well, too high a bioload (often a cause of Columnaris), poor housekeeping etc. Any potential problems need addressing as well, otherwise the chances are your fish will become reinfected.

As Tim said definitely columnaris on the first pic and can't see clearly enough on the bulge to say what that is.
If the eSHa combo doesn't sort it then try Waterlife Myxazin as that seems to have a better success rate for columnaris.
