Returning to the Hobby after 10 years

Hi guys got as far the big league last time with a 6 foot Marine tank before I finial succumb to the cost. I had worked my way up via tropical etc so always thought I had cut my teeth so to speak. Had a hankering to do a planted tank, you guys have any tips on what to do. I have a 5 foot tank and some large fluval filters from my old days but thinking I will start over with new. I am reasonably up on the basics with regards to planted tanks buts that about it?

Hi. We took about 10 years off and haven't things changed. I remember the limited choice of plants and running for test kits 🙂 I like to think I'm far more relaxed this time round and do not own a single test kit i have learnt a lot from the people on ukaps. Theres a lot more bling and sleek bits and bobbies to lure us into spending our hard earnt cash now.🙂. Oh .......and a forsales section here that's always got something I have to buy.🙂🙂
