I remember that Crypt affinis too from 40 years ago. Really easy to grow (no ferts and no CO2), beautiful looking. I wonder where it went ?
Could be Cryptocoryne affins red!I have ben looking for it ever since !! It was called Crypt affinis, then - but the plants I have been able to source of that name are defenitely not the same as my "memory plant".
I don't care if it's not trendy.I have just managed to get the same species of fish back I had back then and would like to get the same plant just for old times sakeIn both of my tanks. It's just not trendy anymore.
Do you have a picture or could you send details of sellerIt definately sounds like c.affinis to me, tough as old boots spread quite quickly...... for a crypt! It isn't at all easy to find. I spent over 15 years searching for this and eventually found some via eBay last year
