As far as i know they should not up to "normal" levels.

Cherry shrimp at least, do not appear not to be affected by high levels of ferts.
In my last 180l set up (journal in the signature), I ran double EI values for at least the last 6 months of it's life, as an experiment, and no fatalities to report 😀

I've not heard of ferts affecting any shrimps, even crystals.
