Pogostemon helferi

I ordered some Pogostemon helferi from aqua essentials for my 90l and it looks like this.

how do I get it to look like this?

have I got an emersed form or something? can I just chop the stems?

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yep, what he said.

Cut and replant and make sure they get all the CO2 and frets they need, as well as light. If they don't get enough light you will find they grow upwards more than out. If you want that nice dense cabbage look they need plenty of light.
Give it a couple of months and you'll have lots of great looking plants.

Thanks guys, I'm still not 100% on where to chop them thought I might just be being stupid, do I cut below each little right of leaves on the stems? there is about 5 on some of them, or each stem as a whole?
