hello i will hopefully be planting blyxa japonica into 3" substratate topped with akadama.do you use lead weights to hold the stems in place or just plant without ? just not sure thank's jon
If you have some tweezers, these will help you a lot. Plant each stem individually by pushing them into the substrate. It's good to strip some of the lower leaves so they aren't under the substrate, where they will rot.
one thing amano does aswell is to plant them at an angle away from you, starting at the back. this way they dont get in your way and also dont uproot as easy 😀
