Hey folks. Im in need of your thoughts on what plants i can add to back left of the tank. Its looking a little inbalanced when sat in front of it. Any decent plants you think will suit layout. Cheers
Hi Cai, your tank looks nice - is it quite tall? If so, you have the luxury of choosing plants that will grow big without smothering the tank. Most apongeton bulbs grow large & are attractive & crinum bulbs? You could also use other echinodorus species? Vallisneria is another tall option. Water wisteria & water sprite are also bushy stems All assuming your low tech these would be viable... if not you might have a lot of 'gardening' to do
Personally, I'd stick to Echinodorus species. You could create a "fan" effect following the wood using various species which grow at different heights. The E. radicans you have at the moment will grow very large and tall, given time.
