Morning all,
I’m in need of some advice about my pistia. Whilst I love how it looks it seems to be taking over the tank and the roots dropping right down towards my driftwood and other plants.
Do I have too much of the pistia in the tank?
Should I be removing some or cutting the roots?
I’m worried there isn’t as much space for the fish to move around in especially as we have a red tail black shark.
Any and all advice is appreciated!
Many thanks

The surface area covered by floating plants is lost for gas exchange. Floating plants do not oxygenate water.
