i have an easy question will this ''plant'' grow on leaves of other plants/mosses if in close contact?

Sure does.

I've found if growing amongst other mosses, and entangled in dense area of planting.
The deal with pellia is that when reeeeeaally dense it doesn't rot and stays attached even will little to no ligh at the base. So if a little bit gets detached and finds its way around the tank it'll carry on growing where ever....plus it sinks so can get blown across the tank and start growing over the other side
