I’ve just seen these online and they look nice. I’d like my next tank to be Optiwhite with mitred corners. 8mm glass seems a bit thin though for the 90cm model. My last tank around that size used 10mm glass.
Anyone on here got a Scaperline? What do you think of it?
I have a ScapreLine and am very happy with it. I have the 100 version, with 10mm thick glass.
Cabinet space, holes (side and back) and shelving are all solid. Plastic everywhere to stop water from getting to the wood - including screw caps. And the drawer for the filter is quite helpful. Glass is very good too.
If Oase made it work with 8mm, then it would be fine. Geroge Farmer has ScaperLines and not all new, and he has not reported any issues in years.
Thanks for your thoughts guys. They do look very nice. It will be tank only when the time comes. I’ll make a cabinet or reinforce a suitable peice of furniture.
Looking at the specifications the Scaperline cabinets are only 81cm high? This seems a bit low. My existing Nano’s are sitting on an 83cm piece of furniture and I have to bend down to get a good view of my Corydoras. I would be either sourcing another piece of furniture or making a cabinet. I was thinking of a cabinet at least 90cm high for the Scaperline 90. I’d like to go higher but I’d have trouble cleaning the bottom of the tank. Any thoughts? Anyone else got a fairly tall cabinet?
Two other manufacturers using mitred corners have been mentioned on here in the past but I don’t think they are available in the UK. I believe one was American and the other German. If so, probably unlikely they’d be available at a reasonable price in the UK.
Are there any that folks might know of that are definitely available in the UK. As mentioned I’m looking to get a 90P.

Had the same thoughts with readily available cabinets on the market for 90cm tank, so I ended up making a custom cabinet for my tank (90x45x37.5cm) that is 85cm high. The total height of tank + cabinet (122.5cm) was the maximum height that allows me to reach to the back corners of the tank without having to tiptoe / stand on a small stool (I am 174cm tall).
I am not aware of any cabinets that are 90cm high which are readily obtainable, so I believe your options would be limited to either 1) customising your own cabinet or 2) getting a number of marine plywood planks to put on top of readily available cabinets to increase the height. Alternatively you could always sit on a shorter stool to admire your tank inhabitants 😉
This is 91cm high, but I’d need to put a batten on the back to increase the front to back measurement. A bit expensive for what it is though and I’d want to reinforce it a bit with some plywood.
Nick Chan at Aquarium Cabinet solutions can do mitred optiwhite corners and builds the cabs himself so can do any size. Ive got one of his cabs on my Dennerle capers tank and its top quality
