I'm a Newbie on this forum but wanted to add to my post above. The new sideshoot growth on this Ludwigia 'super red' is small and curly looking on a couple stems which looks like a deciciency. Am using liquid carbon daily and using tnc complete once a week. There's a root tab or two in the vicinity of these. Light on 4 hours in the AM and 6 hours in the PM. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

It's TNC complete which contains iron. I could try adding an iron only supplement.
Do not hurry with this one. You will need a special iron supplement for such hard water. Plus if new leaves are not getting pale then it most likely something else than iron. I only had iron and phosphate deficiencies once in my experience. I'm not an expert in detecting deficiencies and also I always had hight tech tanks that's why initially I suspected the CO2.

Edit
Just a thought, have you changed anything in your tank recently? What I'm thinking is maybe your Ludwigia is re-adapting to its new environment?

Nothing had changed other than stocking level... So many baby guppies I need to move/rehome quite a few in 3 or 4 weeks. I did add some tnc pellets to the substrate a couple weeks ago.
