So currently I’ve just sold my big tank as we have a baby on the way.

Ive got the following.

low tech ADA mini as a beta tank.

2 Ada 30 cubes. Currently holding tanks along with buckets and bowls with what I could salvage.

Two large redmoor roots and a bucket of smaller ones.

Loads of dragon stone.

Two bags of new substrate

A bowl full of Monte Carlo

Some hair grass, buce, anubias. Loads of different mosses.

Two fluval 406 which are seriously over filtering the cubes so I’ve throttled them down a bit.

Hoping to put the two cubes to use with a Forrest high tech and a low tech jungle for my dad.

Any suggestions or ideas welcome as currently I’m not feeling inspiration.

Some photos attached where I am so far.

Advice on scaping a CUBE dimension tank welcomed and will document a journey from a garage full of bits to something i love.

Will you have both 30c’s in close proximity so you can do all maintenance etc - or will one be at some distance & you’re hoping to maintain monthly?

I have a couple of these tanks, I feel like I always struggle to keep them in good perspective- so easy to use wood that’s too large, stone too large/plain, plants that outgrow re leaf size ...

The low tech tank is going to my fathers house so low maintenance just wants a fish for grand daughter.

Mine I’m struggling with cube dimensions. Wish I’d got the 60p whilst TGM had on offer. Also not sure how dragon stone would look in a Forrest scape.

The only concern I can see with this tank is those big plants is they could fill the small tank very quickly otherwise it is looking great.

If you have never had small tanks I think you will find they do require more regular work than a large tank as there is no room for any concerns every thing must be perfect.

As for the other tank sorry I can not follow you photos one good photo of where you are now and if necessary another photo of your hardscape bits and pieces that is all that is required.
