Hi again

Sorry for all the threads.. I'm setting up yet another tank, rather low tech (for now lol) I have today been building a back wall out of slate and added a lump of bog wood, some riccia and moss .. Hopefully it will grow .. Any suggestions how to make this a success, I'm trying to run before I can walk I think ..

The wall looks great. The only thing I would mention is, I think I read where Clive said such back grounds can impede your CO2 distribution and flow management so a little care there may be required if indeed you are planning to use CO2.

Personally I would be making sure I make that lovely wall a prominent feature.

Harry.

Hi all,
I like the wall.Do you know which shrimps or fish you are going to stock?

cheers Darrel
Not sure yet ... I was hoping for suggestions, it's just cycling at the moment with a full pot of clear aqua balls ... I'm going to add something just to kick start it a little but carnt decide what!

I'm not planning on co2 as I already have 2 running , but I'm sure I will end up doing ... My filter is behind the wall along with the heater but I have left plenty of holes in the wall to allow circulation ( hopefully) .
The only downside to that is the fish or shrimps with almost certainly spend there time behind the wall hiding 🙂
