New journal [short term] ISLAND UPDATED 7/4/2011

No stems, but if you put some SAE's in there your BBA wil be history (and any moesses too).
Or if you do not mind snails some ramshorns will do the job (but very slowly).

Have you tried spot dosing easy carb?
Fill a syringe turn of filter and pumps squirt onto infected areas leave 10 mins then turn on filter and pumps
In a couple of days the bba turns redish and if you have any ottos they will then eat it
Took me a few goes to get rid of it and had to play with my co2 and flow direction to make sure of no dead spots but it all went and hasn't come back
Also make sure if you disturb the substrate you do a good water change as a release of ammonia can also trigger bba
Hope that helps
Matt
