After just buying a new aquarium, I have been looking at ideas to create a river style aquarium.
The gravel here: http://www.pro-shrimp.co.uk/gravel/941-dennerle-natural-gravel-yukon-12-18mm-4001615069044.html
Is the gravel that I feel would fit in the best in the aquascape, I am planning on mixing both sizes together but want to have plants within it.
If I were to use a substrate to plant in; would it work to have a light coating of the Yukon gravel overtop will the plants still grow the same? Or will it cause problems for plant growth? I can't see that it could pose a problem but am not completely confident in my judgment so wanted to ask you guys.
Cheers,
Ryan
