Looks great Damien, what are the layers of substrate alert from the amazonia powder?
What's else are you going to run- Lights/ C02 wise?
I'm going to be starting a 55l tank soon so will watch this with interest.
Like the shot from the left corner and above from the left. It's looking great love ada tanks. I'm iching to get my new little tmc tank going but must be patient.
Thanks! I've used unipac fine gravel under the rocks and at the back to raise the level. The Lilaeopsis is taking hold already, I will take a frontal pic and updates soon
An overdue update! Last weekend my plant order arrived and I spend a good few hours planting and filled her up. I disbanded the tank next to her
- Fluvial Ebi 30cm x 30cm cube up for grabs if anybody is interested.
I also started the hardscape of a little 25cm x 25cm optic white cube - new journal to come!
...And photographed today. I need to sort out a background or at least re-decorate behind!
The plants have taken hold nicely, some spots of algae have appeared already -so time to test out the new twinstar.
To ramp up the co2 absorbion and flow, I have put the diffuser into the outflow. The drop checker goes to green within about 2 hours, so seems a good idea in this startup state. Ruins the look I know but so does the twinstar! Hopefully once the plants have fully covered the tank I can get rid of the twinstar and hide the diffuser as much as poss.
Looking good, shame there's nowhere to ram the twinstar they are ugly, but if they do the job and help keep on top of things. I did that with the same diffuser once to try it but couldn't live with the looks but it does work. I'm looking forward to seeing those plants take over. Nice rock work by the way. Also nice touch with the sag in the rock.
