A couple of weeks ago i was able to purchase a secondhand 90p, complete setup with all what you would need to start a hight tech tank.
90x45x45 aquarium
Oase biomaster 600 thermo
Chihiros wrgb 2 90
Co2 set
I kept the filter going from the previous owner and did a dark start after i filled the aquarium with powersand M, ADA aditives and Amazonia ver 2.
Today i planted the tank, first picture can be seen below. Fingers crossed all goes well!

5 days since planting. Although i did a dark start with a pre cycled filter first for two weeks and nitrites were almost at zero when i planted i've been faced with a massive rise of nitrites since the day i planted. Ik keep on doing regular 50%water changes to keep it under control, it keeps building up. Good thing is that the nitrates are also at 40ppm, so i conclude from that that the filter is doing what it needs to do. Amonia is at 0. I will just have to be patient and eventually it will start to drop again i hope. Below some pictures to see the progress. Plants are growing nicely.

I've got some cleaning up to do tonight when the lights almost end. Allost two weeks after planting the brow diatom algae decided to break out.

I thought that a new update would be nice. The diatoms are still present, especially in the carpetting plants. Besides that are all other plants doing good. Growth is slow but that's ok too. Every 2 or 3 days i do a small or big water change to syphon of the diatoms, i'm sure it wil stabilize soon.
