Nano Aquarium, EI and Excel

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to plant a nano tank (lets say with HC and a few other plants not sensitive to Excel) and dose with EI along with Seachem Excel? Thus no co2 injection.

I was wondering if anyone has done this before and if so could you please give guidelines or tips on achieving this?

Hi,
Yes, a lot of folks do this. Just avoid going crazy with lighting and be sure to use enough of the Excel. Bottle dosing recommendations may be insufficient.
