Microworm culture size containers.

My grindal worms are in a roughly A5 size tupperware about 3" deep, it's about half full of substrate.

Hi, what size container do people keep their Microworm/Grindal worm cultures in?

I used a takeaway container for Microworms as @andy mentions above.

For Grindal worms, the container can be as bit or small as you like, depending on how many you want to produce. When I had a smaller 60cm tank, a couple of small sandwich tubs was fine, now I have a larger 150cm tank, I upgraded them to two large cake tubs, and I fed them a lot more so I can produce enough worms for 4-5+ feeds per week during the winter.

Old and new together:

I used a deep takeaway container for banana worms (same principle for MW). I tried a smaller container but they didn't do very well. Something with high sides makes harvesting easier.
For grindal worms I use plastic quality street/miniature heros/celebrations containers. If you send me the plastic tubs full of chocolate I'll send you the grindal worms culturing tubs 😂

Hi all,
Hi, what size container do people keep their Microworm/Grindal worm cultures in?
I use <"supermarket humus / coleslaw pots"> for Microworms, they aren't very big, but I keep multiple containers (usually five). I find it useful in always having productive cultures in different stages of development.

thanks for all the replies. So basically you can use any size and just depends on how you like do things and your circumstance. Wasn't sure if there was an ideal size to use and it appears not. Might try a mix then and see how it goes. Wonder if the Mrs will notice a selection of her plastic tubs disappearing. 😎
