I'm looking at getting a light to replace the interpet aqua smart 24w led I currently have.
This is currently mounted on some acrylic that I added to the side of my tank as I removed the lid so I could have an open top tank. The light is rather annoying though owing to light bleeding from the edges (see pic below) meaning you get a little blinded when sitting and observing the tank.
Also, owing to the rim of the tank, I'm not sure what else would work apart from something similar to what I've got?
My tank (60cm wide) is low tech. What I like about the light is you can programme the on/off times (it slowly ramps up/down) and adjust the white/red/blue levels.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
