I thinking about ripping out my Juwel internal filter and replacing it with a JBL e1500. On the specifications it says "in- and outlet: 16/22 mm" what does this mean? My interpretation is that the inlet has a diameter of 16mm while the output is 22mm?

If this is the case then I am assuming it is completely incompatible with both the inline hydor heater and the up CO2 diffuser as both are 16mm?

' Evening James 16/22 means internal diameter is 16 mm and external diameter 22 mm of the pipe both for in and outputs of the filter

Ah ha! Makes sense!

I both love and hate the learning phase! Gotta ask those stupid questions :)

Thanks Jack
