Well I received a complete pump head replacement for my 8 year old e1501, well done JBL. This is the "newer" model pump head that has the "distributer" plate that doesn't require exact positioning of the thin rubber gasket on the internal trays.
Not sure it is 100% as whisper quiet as my old (before it failed to very noisy) e1501, but possibly quieter than the e1502 I purchased.
So there will shortly be a 3 week old e1502 appearing on Ebay. 😎
