Java Moss

Does java moss actually look good? I want to attach some to some wood and maybe make a moss carpet but it seems that java moss grows uncontrollably and in a very random way, therefore making it look scruffy. I have a low light tank so I'm not sure whether it'll stay reletively neat or it'll become hideous and need to be removed? Any thoughts on this, and if you have a tank with it in could i see it please 😀

Well it's a sure thing that the lawn in your backyard also grows uncontrollably, so that's why you have a lawnmower. The same can be said of men's hair and beards. Getting any aquascape to look nice has to do with triming and shaping. No plant will grow automatically in the shape that you like. You have to be the barber.

Java moss is really qute lovely as long as it is trimmed to keep it compact, as clive has said. Plenty of shrimp always help it to stay looking swish!
