Java Fern Plantlets

Hi can anyone tell me how I remove the plantlets from my java fern mother plant or do I have to wait until they come off ?As i'm setting up a new tank & would like to use the plantlets in that.
Any info would be great thanks.

You should be able to just gently pull them off.

Just give it a tug and it should come off easily enough. I just recently pulled 22 plantlets from a 30L of mine by doing that and the mother plant is just fine.
