I would leave it out until the bloom has gone.I finished regenerating the purigen, I don't know whether to insert it since they told me it's not needed
Obviously, you have a massive bacterial bloom.
I agree with this.I would leave it out until the bloom has gone.
the filter is a biomaster 600 aquarium 80.40.40 with 3 matrix baskets an original blue sponge and last wool plus purigen yesterday with the change I removed the old wool the purigen to regenerate. washed the sponges with aquarium water. instead mistake another week I washed the small sponges of the pre-filter with tap water 😭
This is a TERRIBLE picture, but have a look at the drop checker 100cm away from the camera. I have plants, but that clarity is supported with just good old sponge and plastic bits.I don't have the sponges anymore 😭 I threw them away but aren't they useful for the bacteria anymore? But I won't do the water change at the weekend then?
How often do you clean the matrix and blue sponge? You only have to have one thorough cleaning too much, and then you are back to the start.but before with this configuration I had clear water 😭 the 3 baskets under matrix then blue sponge and then wool and purigen 😭😭 I'm saying something stupid but it's not that the pH dropped too much and killed everything I don't think so
I cleaned the blue sponge with aquarium water last week. I don't use dechlorinator for months.
