Inline diffuser & Reactor is this bad?

Hi

I disconnected the co2 from the reactor which is on the outflow of the filter and used a one way valve to stop the water from coming out the reactor through the co2 intake. I then added an inline up atomizer on the inflow.

Do you guys think I should remove the reactor? Is it any better or any worse if I keep it without feeding in co2?

Thanks

It's worth removing the reactor as it will improve flow. But if flow isn't a concern, it won't hurt to leave it there.

Then I guess you will only benefit from leaving it there, any CO2 that escapes your filter will build up in the reactor, improving absorption.

I'd put a bit of tube on the other end of one way valve with a screw or something blanking it if you haven't already as I have had oneway valves fail before.:)
