inline deffusers

hi all, am i right in thinking that it is a waist of time using a bubble counter if you are using an inline deffuser as this must pressure up the diffuser first to force the water out from around the stone????. from a co2 bottle and reg.

also if i have harder water of 11kh will i need to use far more gas to get the indicater to show green not bue???????

I STRONGLY suggest that you first read and study the thread http://ukaps.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=467 and ask questions from there. Anything else is a complete "waist" of time.

Yes you use a bubble counter, the bubble counter will of course be under pressure as will all the tube & connections so use quality fittings!
