Hi all,
Im planing on upgrading to a 5x2x2 ADA tank (580Lapprox) and from looking on the net it seems like im going to have to buy 2 external filters.
I was thinking of getting 2 Fluval FX5 External filters (or should i substitute one of these with an Eheim that has a built in heater, so less in the tank?). Do I have to have 2 spray bars in the tank now? That would not look great, or can I have one set up differently?
I also have a power head already, so do i still need the 2 externals?
I want inline diffusers so I might need to get 2 now?
What would the best way be to hook up 2 inline diffusers from one co2 source?
Is it really necessary to have a diffuser in each external?

All suggestions welcome....thanks in advance
Dave.

You could consider an overflow box & a sump if you have space under the cabinet?
Spray bars work very well but do need plenty of flow to get the best effect, you could try one full length spray bar fed from either end by two externals.
Also consider a needle wheel pump to get the same misting effect but with far more reliability & less maintenance!
