I'm just wondering...

Hi all! I have a 180 litre tank and I won a bid on 15 cardinal tetras for a cheap £7! Problem is, I can't get a few, put them in, a few more, put them on etc...

Is there any problem with putting them all in at the same time? Thanks.

What else do you have in the tank? How long has the tank been running for? Do you have plants?

Please provide more info.

Well it's been running for a week, I have some guppies and lampeye fish from my smaller tank, and i have three anubias nanas in the tank.

If the tank isnt cycled then you really shouldnt have any livestock in there....

oops! does the filter have mature media in it? How many other fish? looks like your going to have to take a chance, most folk on here dont introduce fish to a new tank for 4-6weeks. keep up with water changes use amquel or similar and you might be ok.

Thanks for the speedy replies. I'm sure it's cycled as I've put bacteria solutions, tetrasafe and frequent water changes... As well as squeezing some water from my mature tanks filter media to the new one's.
