Who knows this plant? I saw it today for the first time.. It only grows in the water.. Looked around in the area but nowhere else to find, but in the water it grows in abundancy, some places light green, other places dark green even with a bit of red.. The growth looks like this of a fern, but this aint a fern, at least i doubt its one. Most ferns grow in a roset like structure and this looks like single stems..

Took the pic with my phone this is the best i have for now.. Couldn't get closer without dipping into the creek.. 🙂

Always difficult to tell without flowers, but looks like could be an umbellifer of some discription, Maybe fools water-cress Apium nodiflorum.

Thanks Tim, i think you nailed this one.. 🙂 It grows very close to my home, i'll go look again in flowering time.. At this early stage of it's life i like this plant very much.. 🙂 From a distance i thought it was a fern.. But couldn't be, we only have one knowm marsh fern which looks diferent. Never noticed it before..
