Hygrophila guianensis

Bought an Aquafleur pot of this blind today, anyone have any experience as all the info i can find notes it as being difficult/advanced (bugger lol).

Hey Rob, I've used this before, it did ok for me in a low light set up.

It can melt when you introduce it to your tank, so, just nip the tops and replant if it does melt.


Ime most hygro's do well in a low tech tank.

It'll be fine. Just watch for the melt on the old growth.

Come to think of it, I don't think I ever met a really difficult aquatic Hygrophila, yet .........
