Hi all.
I haven't bought a tank yet as it will be a joint Christmas present with my daughter. I'm thinking of getting a 2nd hand Fluval Roma 200. One of the main reasons for joining this forum was for serching out a low maintenance planted options and to get some good research in before starting my tank. I'm pretty busy growing lots of vegetables and doing up our house so I don't want to rush in and build something which has weekly landslides, earthquakes and hours of work. 😀
I've kept tropical fish and axolotls in the past. The tropical tank was planted but I found a tall leafy plant just went nuts so I will probably be looking for slower growing options this time around.
Looking at another members introduction it sounds like Newport Aquatics is pretty good. If anyone knows another good place slightly closer to the Forest of Dean then please let me know.
Thanks!
