Hello all,
I have decided to add a new Cabinet aquarium, just a small one as I can only fit a 70cms long x 45cms wide which it seems will give me 100 to 150 litres .

My question is: can anyone advise which brand I should get? I've seen Fluval, Aqua one, Eheim, Interpet, Oase, Clearseal, Ciano, etc., all do them in this size but it's a bit of a mine field so any help appreciated.

Plan is to do an island style scape with a sandy bottom and small schooling fish such as Rummy Nose etc. I'm aging now so I'd prefer an internal filter for ease of reaching to service. I'll be adding CO2 and can upgrade the light if needs be.

I just thought someone may have had experience and can recommend . Thanks and a merry Christmas to all.

I’ve got a Superfish Scaper 90 which is 60x40cm. Comes with a light and HOB filter. I’ve added an external filter and CO2 to mine. Still have the stock light and it grows everything just fine.

£140 for everything although you’d need to provide your own cabinet if that’s what you’re after.

Thanks for the offer, it's much appreciated but I was just after first hand advice on the best brand to buy. I want a complete set , Cabinet and aquarium and I also want New. Thanks again

Oh yeah, I wasn’t trying to sell you it. It’s in my kitchen and full of my plants and fish. 😄 I was recommending it as a good value tank in similar dimensions to what you asked for and it’s available for (give or take) £140 at many aquatic retailers.

Couldn't recommend you anything else. I’ve only had reef tanks prior to this which are much bigger than what you’re after and overkill for planted. Someone will probably have some suggestions though.
