Hi all I am wondering if I can use heather (Erica cinerea) in my aquascape and if so is there anything I need to take into consideration?

Hi all I am wondering if I can use heather (Erica cinerea) in my aquascape and if so is there anything I need to take into consideration?

We have a few posts <"using Calluna vulgaris"> , and I can't imagine that Erica cinerea is any less suitable. It <"doesn't last very well">, probably because the stems are pretty thin.
