Has anyone tried / used these please ?

I've just "inherited" and older style fluval 240 tank - it has a thick plastic rim at the top and used to hold an I-Bar with 2x T8 42" bulbs.
I'd like to convert it to 4x54W T5's - Full Length...

Has anyone bought or seen one of these or any other feedback?

This will not fit your tank mate, it doesn't go over the rim.

I don't think rimless is an option on this tank - I think the glass may be too thin / need bracing...

Any ideas on light units that would fit it>?

All pond solutions do the hanging light kit and that fits it, you would need a light that would be able to be hung from the wires though.
