Hey folks!
Long-time fish keeper (but new to plants in any kind of a thoughtful approach) type person here.
After a lengthy hiatus from tropical freshwater, I turned all salty.
My work and life, however, meant that I wasn't able to give the hobby the attention it deserves (and was in danger of not giving it the attention it needs) so I rehomed all my marine creatures, and have repurposed my tank for freshwater. My plan is for low tech, low maintenance, high zen.
I'm hoping that understocking, and a probably vastly over-spec'd sump, will allow me to maintain a relaxing and appealing tank without having to behave like a mad scientist in a laboratory. Let's see how it goes 🙂
