I know a few of you on here use this, I recently downloaded it for the second time and have been experimenting. It's quite easy to use.

The only thing is, after I've edited an image I can't work out how to save it as an image file (e.g. png, jpg etc) - it just saves as a GIMP file.

Anyone know how to solve this? 😉

when you save it, it will say "image.xcf"

you need to change the .xcf to .jpg or .jpeg

it will ask you to export it, so click export and it will save it with no difference.

I thought I'd be something as simple as that! I just had a 'why didn't I think of that before' moment.
