FZone Solenoid

After two years my FZone solenoid on my 2.5 litre Generator has packed in. I have 2 of these generators running and really like them. I am unable to find a spare, they used to be on Amazon but no longer appear to be for sale.

Please can anyone point me in the right direction for a replacement, if not is there a reliable alternative?

I have seen "inline" versions but fear the pressure may cause problems with such a set up.

Any advice appreciated as long as it's not 'get a pressure cylinder' which for many reasons is not an option for me. Thanks.

I use one of these on my FZone reactor. I didn't buy it through that shop and only payed £16 for it but there are lots of solenoids like it out there. You just need the same inlet and outlet connection as the needle valve. It won't push fit into the adapter so you'll need to remove that and connect to the solenoid with a piece of CO² hose.

Thanks so much for your reply, I'll keep your advice for later if I need it, the good news is I was searching the internet and some guy mentioned a reset button on the FZone solenoid, I found this and it's working again. The reset button is yellow and sits on the light grey coloured part of the unit, so I'm all fixed for now.

There used to be an abbreviation “RTFM”, but did you even get a manual? 😂

No you are right, manuals are apparently not available at this price.😁 I would certainly have read it otherwise.
tbf the Fzone kit is pretty damn good, I have two cabinet aquariums both with this system and they work really well.
Age has caught up and I can't go chasing cylinder refills so I do find it so much easier to just Amazon the powders and mix it myself.
