Hi there, we bought a few nerite snails and endler's guppies to our planted tank a week ago. Then to our surprise, we found a fry yesterday.
We don't have female guppies in the tank so we think this could be a hitchhiker that came with either the snails or the plants.

Does anyone know what breed this is?

Thanks!

It's hard to tell at that age but it looks very similar to the Gelius barbs I used to breed. They are a beautiful, peaceful little barb that's a nano fish, so could have been kept with endlers at the shop.

That was my thought too, looks like a tiny gelius Barb.

Just read up on the Gelius Barb, apparently they prefer water ph5.5 - 7.0 but my endlers guppies prefer alkaline water.
Can they go in the same tank together or should rehome it?
