Hi everyone,

My name is Felix, living in London.

I currently keep a few vivaria with poison frogs which I love, but have had aquariums in the past and have just ordered a funky 60cm x 60cm x 30cm (WxDxH) shallow aquarium for my living room!

Will take time on this build, potentially add CO2 for some lush plant growth, wanting to make a beautiful home for some Apistogramma (probably!)

Looking forward to sharing on the forum with all you - pics of frogs for tax

Gorgeous!

There should always be a frog tax 😉 I like the red & white gent, reminds me of peppermint butler (but hopefully less evil)

Thanks for all the kind messages!

The red frogs are Epipedobates Anthonyi 'Santa Isabel', or Phantasmal Poison Frogs, hailing from Ecuador. They are incredibly hardy frogs and call loudly from 6am-8pm.

The blue and yellow frogs are Ranitomeya Sirensis 'Highland' from Peru, though sadly extinct in the wild. Happily though they have been breeding for me and I have a number of tadpoles from them, hoping to increase their numbers in captivity.

I have started my planted aquarium build by collecting some rocks from the beach, will ensure they're sterilised

Welcome 🤗 Looks like those rocks are limestone. Don’t think they are any good for planted aquarium especially with CO2?
