Im soon looking at setting up my first planted tank.
Am more than likely moving house in the next year or two so im limiting myself to one of the small desktop kind of tanks. Mainly as an experiment and learning curve for me so i'll be a bit more clued up for a bigger tank when I move.

So I like the look of the fluval edge 46L but have read the maintenance is a pain an scaping is limiting.
Also just been reading about the dennerle scapers tank which looks promising, although with that one someone said about the stock light being too strong which makes managing co2 difficult? Any opinions?

Or are there any other better options for similar sized tanks?
I like that the two above tanks have equipment hidden away or hanging off the back as I don't like to see it all in the display.

Thanks,
Mark

im leaning towards the dennerle at the moment...
Would like to keep maintenance low so I guess to start with at least ill be on a low tech setup
