Had a few straggly bits on the end of a Java Windelov rhizome, so decided to snip them off and grow out separately. I don't want to glue them yet, so I've put some filter floss over the rhizome in a loop and then into a plant weight. Is this likely to cause the rhizome to rot in the same way as planting? I can always tie them to the weights with cotton instead for now1000016367.jpg

Excuse the mess of a tank, it's currently a grow on for some plants, quarantine/grow on for juvenile Kribensis & plecos & waterlogging some bogwood.

Hi all,

You can just let them float around the tank. None of my <"epiphytes"> are <"fixed to anything any more">.

That is just an unattached football of Bolbitis heudelotii.
