Ehiem External - where to fit hermetic seals?

Hi,

Looking for some help with an ehiem 2222 pro external filter.

Most of the rubber seals on my second hand filter have gone hard & I am going to replace them before I put it into use.

I now have a new pack of 3 "hermetic seals" part 7343390 but according to the parts diagram I can only see where 2 of them go - namely on top of the pipes in the 2 media baskets. Where does the third seal go, or is it just a spare (not like Eheim though! So I'm concerned) :?:

Not to sure in your model, but how many trays do have for putting media in?

According to the PDF file, you have only 2 trays, so one seal for each, the other will be a spare.

If you had the next model up with 3 trays then all would be used.
