Echinodorus bleheri plantlets????

Was just wondering if anyone could help...
I have a huge sword plant that has sent a stem off with the best part of 11 small plantlets growing off it, and just wanted to know at what point can I take these off? Or what should I do with them?
I can't see any visible roots coming off them bit they are starting to grow pretty big...
Seems a shame to just pull it off and throw them away

Hi Al,
You can remove the plantlets any time and replant in the sediment.
