Hi peeps!Could anyone give me a clue what is a lifetime of Arcadia 8w T5 300 mm tube?Mine just "died".I checked the starter and it's fine.Had it for about 9 months.

Hi all,
I've got the Boyu 3 x 8W T5 unit, the blue actinic it came with didn't go long, but one of the other tubes is the original one it came with more than 3 years ago (on for a 12 hour day).
BLT do these for less than £3 each <http://www.bltdirect.com/products.php?cat=653&nm=Fluorescent+T5+8w&filter=780>, and they say "10,000 hours life". (365 x 12 = 4380 hours per year), so you should get over 2 years.
