DSM and willow moss

Hi

Does anyone know if the willow moss (fontinalis antipyretica) can handle DSM?

I want to try the youghurt-method on it 😉

Hi all,
Might be all right, as it doesn't always grows submerged. I've seen it in the draw down zone of turloughs in Ireland, but always just above the water level. Where you get a lot of seasonal water level change you get other mosses like Cinclidotus in the transition zone. I think you would need to keep it fairly damp, and I'm not sure how well it would respond to chopping up.

cheers Darrel

It really doesn't like being grown emerse :arghh: - but it's pissible, yes.
Grow PAINFULLY slow and look weird, too 😕
I haven't done it "yoghurt-style", though.........

It's going to stay submersed after it's stuck to the rocks. But if it's not beneficial to run a DSM on it I'm not shure if I'm going to try it, since I have flame moss and weeping moss I can try.

Thanx for the replies dw1305 and Mick.Dk 😀

Hehe, I'm having troubles myself since I'm not that used to type english, so it's quite alright Mick.Dk 😉
